Para Hills Veterinary Clinic tries to support the rehoming of pets needing new homes for genuine reasons such as owners entering nursing homes or moving overseas We are able to help by putting up fliers in our waiting room and listing pets on our website adoption site. Unfortunately we are not able to take in owned pets. If you are not able to care for your pet we suggest you contact the animal welfare league for advice, www.animalwelfareleague.com.au

Every kitten season Adelaide gets overwhelmed with unwanted kittens. We try and assist with some of these kittens by running a kitten adoption service. All kittens rehomed from the Para Hills Veterinary Clinic are desexed, micro chipped, vaccinated, deflead and dewormed as well of course as being vet checked!. All of this costs the clinic well in excess of $400 but kittens are usually sold at about $100. Please contact us if you have any problems with your new family member settling in. Please note we are not able to accept any owned kittens- We strongly reccomend you have your cat desexed so your cat never adds to this problem. If the unfortunate does happen, and your cat does have kittens, then please contact the animal welfare league at www.animalwelfareleague.com.au
